The Upa Lokayukta, who will continue his tour until Saturday, plans to make unannounced visits to various locations and gather complaints from the public. Additionally, he will take part in a legal literacy programme concerning the Karnataka Lokayukta Act, which will be conducted in collaboration with various departments and the District Legal Services Authority. Veerappa is scheduled to meet with the district’s judicial officers and Lokayukta police at the District Court Complex, where he will listen to and resolve pending complaints and grievances from the public in the presence of both complainants and respondents. Farmers expressed their concerns that the APMC officials are yet to convene a meeting with farmers and traders. In light of the inadequate facilities provided to the workers, the Upa Lokayukta instructed the officials to file two suo-motu cases against the APMC officials.
