physically assaulting her husband, kabaddi star Deepak Niwas Hooda, inside a police station in Hisar, Haryana. The incident reportedly took place on 15 March amid ongoing divorce proceedings between the two high-profile athletes.
The altercation allegedly occurred during a mediation session at the police station, where both parties had gathered to discuss their ongoing legal battle. Hooda later claimed that he sustained injuries from the assault and accused Boora, along with her father and maternal uncle, of using abusive language and resorting to physical violence in front of the police. The couple had tied the knot in 2022.
Saweety Boora’s shocking allegations
Days after a video of her physically assaulting her husband, Boora, an Arjuna awardee, held a press conference where she made startling claims about Hooda. The boxer alleged that she had endured immense mental and emotional torture at the hands of Hooda. Additionally, she stated that if she were to die under any circumstances, Hooda should be held accountable.
Boora further alleged that Hooda is homosexual and that she had discovered explicit videos of him with other men. She said, “I didn’t want to say all this. He is interested in men. I have seen the videos, and when I did, I was shocked. I have seen him with guys. I didn’t want to reveal all these things, but that man is not correcting himself. I have all the evidence and videos, and I will present them. I wanted a simple divorce, but that man has forced me to do all this.”

Boora also dismissed claims that she had married Hooda for financial gains, instead alleging that she had supported him during his early years. She stated, “He (Deepak) did not even have a toilet at home when I first met him in 2015. I had won many medals at the time, but he was not that successful. Had I been after his wealth, would I have agreed to be with him?”
She further claimed that when Hooda started earning a substantial amount of money in 2016 from the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), he deposited his earnings into her account to evade taxes, only to withdraw the funds later after she had paid the taxes on his behalf.
