NBA: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander makes history with 60-game 20+ point streak

Spread the News

Shai-Gilgeous Alexander has made NBA history by scoring 20 or more points in 60 consecutive games in a single season. He now joins the elite group and becomes only the seventh player to reach this milestone.

Alexander has been putting up consistently excellent stats over 63 games, including 32.7 points, 6.2 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game with excellent shooting. His consistency has placed him firmly in the MVP (Most Valuable Player) race and further established him as a key figure for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Additionally, Shai has also reached another milestone by crossing 10,000 career points in just 368 games. This makes him one of the fastest players to reach the mark, even outpacing Kevin Durant, who accomplished the feat in 381 games.

However, when asked about his recent milestones, Shai emphasized that winning is his primary goal. “I love MVPs, I love All-Stars, I love all the accolades that comes with it but none of it matters if you don’t win and that’s where I hang,” Shai stated.
