Especially once the ball has gotten older and softer batting has become difficult against the tweakers and seamers who could execute the slower balls skillfully. Hence teams batting first would have to maintain the right balance between attack and defence and construct the innings accordingly which both Bangladesh and Pakistan have failed when they played in Dubai and batted first.
