Vijayawada: BJP national vice president and Mahabubnagar MP D.K. Aruna has asserted that their party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working with a sole motive of developing India drawing inspiration from Dr. B.R Ambedkar.
Taking part in a workshop here on Saturday in connection with the birth anniversary celebrations of Indian Constitution maker B.R. Ambedkar, the MP said their party’s national leadership has decided to organise birth anniversary celebrations of Ambedkar from Sunday, April 13 to April 25.
During this period, BJP will take up awareness drives in villages on the ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
Aruna slammed the Congress party for taking up a misinformation campaign against the BJP in the recently held elections, claiming that if the BJP is elected to power again, it might amend the Constitution and even dent the ideals of the Constitution maker.
AP BJP chief and Rajamahendravaram MP D. Purandeswari said they will be organising a series of programmes to pay tributes to Ambedkar in a befitting manner.
She underlined that Ambedkar wanted to provide equal justice to all. “Our party is also working in the same direction, she pointed out.
Purandeswari blamed the Congress party for amending the Indian Constitution too many times keeping in mind the vote bank politics.
