Hyderabad: An IndiGo flight, 6E 5248, from Mumbai to Visakhapatnam, was diverted to the Shamshabad airport here on Saturday morning, after the pilot identified a technical issue mid-flight.
The plane, carrying 144 passengers, landed safely without incident. All passengers were deboarded after completing necessary procedures.
IndiGo arranged an alternative aircraft for the passengers to continue their journey to Visakhapatnam. Refreshments were provided during the wait to minimize the inconvenience.
“The safety of passengers and crew is our topmost priority, and we regret the inconvenience caused due to this delay,” said an IndiGo official.
